A re-imagining of The Sentinel.

Every summit holds a Gaze. Every Gaze was once a climber, like you: a stray thought that absorbed the watcher before it and put on its shape. That's why the land keeps regenerating, taller, for whoever climbs next.

There's no jumping, no dodging, no combat. Just terrain, sightlines, and a slow, escalating war of vantage. Grow trees for cover. Pile up the ground itself to see farther than anything that's watching you. Absorb what you don't need. Cast a shell onto higher ground you can see but haven't reached, then step into it. Climb until you can look the Gaze in the eye, take its place, and ascend into a landscape that's bigger than the last one.

Watch the watchers. A sentry or Gaze that spots you doesn't just flag you and move on, it locks its gaze and holds you there, draining you for as long as it has line of sight to the ground under your feet. It won't sweep away and give you a free pass. Breaking eye contact is on you: build cover, get above its sightline, or burn the energy to relocate before it burns you first.

Explore in classic green wireframe. Drop into a free-fly hidden-line 3D view of the whole level (the same vector aesthetic the original game was built around) to read the height data at a glance before you commit. It's fully playable in this mode too: everything you can do from the top-down map, you can do from inside the wireframe.

No ceiling. Levels keep growing, level after level, with no cap. Every level number always generates the same landscape, so you can trade codes with a friend or jump straight back into one that beat you.
